Introduction:
Terry's genealogy hobby sparked the interest of Pieter Smits in France and beginning in 2013 JoliSoleil Guided tours started also offering genealogy tours in the Alsace and Lorraine region.

As a team they work well together as Terry produces all the ancestry research via her company Moren Genealogy, while Pieter organizes the touring logistics and acts as an interpreter and document translator.
Pieter is fluent in German and French.

Pieter is a native of the Netherlands. He holds a doctoral degree in economics from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
Pieter's native language is Dutch, he also speaks German, English and French. He enjoys helping people find and understand their Alsatian roots.
He has lived in France since 2003.

Terry is a native of California. She has a bachelor's degree in business from California State University Fresno.
Researching her family for 20 years, she has aquired experience in finding information through research, documentation, and creating pedigree charts.
She is partially living in California and France since 2012.
